2019 Street & Utility Project-Silver Lake Road

County Road C Reconstruction
County Road C between New Brighton Boulevard and Long Lake Road will be reconstructed. Work will include utility upgrades, the addition of a paved trail and placement of new, smooth pavement. Currently the reconstruction is scheduled to begin in spring 2019. Business and community representatives are encouraged to share fleet information, business operation needs and travel patterns by phone or email. The project team values this information for planning in order to minimize disruption and maintain business access.

35 W MnPass Express Lanes-MNDOT Project
In 2017, a two-year I-35W N Preliminary Design study was completed. The study, which included assessing environmental impacts and noise walls, determined constructing a MnPASS lane in each direction between Roseville and Blaine was necessary to relieve congestion, provide a transportation advantage for transit and to add capacity for all motorists. Bremer Bank Redevelopment
Bremer Bank is currently located at 2401 Lowry Avenue NE. Aeon has expressed interest in redeveloping this parcel.

Kenzie Terrace & Stinson Parkway Development
(Formerly Redevelopment of Lowry Grove) In Fall of 2016, the City received an informal concept/sketch plan from The Village, LLC for the redevelopment of Lowry Grove at the Northeast corner of Lowry Avenue and Kenzie Terrace. This project is also called the Southern Gateway Project.

Residential LED Street Lighting Project
Beginning in February 2018, Xcel Energy will begin replacing all residential street lights to LED's.
