A tennis ball recycling container is available at the Saint Anthony City Hall/High School tennis courts. Tennis balls only: no ball cases, packaging, or trash please.
Old balls that have lost their bounce may be placed into the bin to be recycled. These balls will be re-pressurized to bounce another game. Visit the reBounces Website for more information.
"More than 300 million tennis balls are produced each year, which translates to 18,750 tons of non-biodegradable landfill waste." - reBounces
Did You Know?
Tennis ball containers and packaging are not easily recyclable because of the aluminum ring around the top. To recycle this packaging, cut off the top ring and place just the plastic in the recycling bin.
